The Texas Tech University Goin' Band from Raiderland will participate in the 97th edition of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 23, 2023, in New York City. The Goin' Band is one of 10 marching bands that will participate in the annual Thanksgiving Day parade. The parade is scheduled to step off at 8:30 a.m. (ET) and will be televised nationally on NBC from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in all time zones.

Goin' Band Television Performance

The Goin' Band from Raiderland will perform “Wreck'Em Fanfare,” a compilation of Texas Tech spirit songs, for their official performance on NBC. The arrangement was written by Texas Tech alumnus Gabe Musella.

Red Raiders in NYC

Red Raiders traveling to NYC to watch the parade are encouraged to gather and form a cheering section on the west side of 6th Ave. (Avenue of the Americas) between W 50th Street and West 48th Street.  Double T's and pom poms will be distributed (while supplies last) at the pep rally in Times Square on Wednesday for use as the band passes by.
